THE
EXPERIENCE

A Journey of

RECOVERY through DISCOVERY

A call to adventure during a time of crisis or turning point in life.

Research findings reveal the rise in endemic levels of anxiety, depression, maladaptive behaviours, addictions and dysregulated nervous systems, have a direct correlation to our experience of disconnection from the land, the natural world, and wilderness.

EXPERIENCE

the

EXTRAORDINARY

PROTECTED WILDERNESS AREA

Only about a third of this region is open to tourists; the remaining “wilderness” area is accessible only on foot, and then only in the company of trained game guards and wilderness guides.

LATE AFTERNOON - MAGIC HOUR AND SUNSET

As the shadows grow longer the sounds of wildlife begin to stir and activity returns ,a medley of cricket, beetle and bird song welcomes in the magic hour, and the surrounding African bush veld comes alive once more.

CLINICAL PROGRAMME

A TRANSFORMATIVE
THERAPEUTIC JOURNEY

The rhythm of each day is intentionally structured to support powerful, lasting, positive change.

Our programme balances clinical depth with restorative stillness, and therapeutic rigour with the quiet intelligence of the natural world.

Our programme includes a Wilderness Trail.

The programme continues after leaving the lodge.

Meeting  once a week on-line for continued reflection,  connection

and intentional integration.

On-going care is discussed individually.

Mornings begin in stillness, gently regulating the nervous system before moving into time spent immersed in nature (including daily game drives and/or bush walks) - where insight deepens through direct experience.

Afternoons integrate individual psychotherapy, group process, somatic practice and rest, allowing the mind and body to re-organise.

Evenings slow into reflection, connection, and quiet integration. This is not intensity for its own sake - but a carefully calibrated rhythm designed to restore balance, re-wire patterns, and support lasting transformation.

AFRICAN NIGHT SKY

It's the smell that hits you when you first arrive in Africa. That hot waft of baked tarmac, the thick undertone of rich earth, and a jagged hint of rain rainstorm in the air. Then there's the light - much more vivid, the colours do much brighter than anywhere  in the world. Finally, it's the sounds, cascading over the senses like a waterfall, which is when you know you're home, back where it all began in the cradle of mankind all those years ago....
